Born Jan. 20, 1931, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Edith C. (Trimbur) Patterson and Ralph O. Patterson.
Jim was a Butler High School graduate, and went on to graduate with honors from his beloved University of Notre Dame. May 15, 1948 - January 16, 2021 MA, and Barbara (Jim) (East Amherst, NY). He served God as a lector and eucharistic minister, served his country as a naval aviator, and served Mobile County as an elected Circuit Judge.
